I think mine is going to be taken by another branch of the government! I still owe on a Student Loan I've been paying on for 5 years now. I'm sure they will grab it before I see it.

I am going to get rid of all credit cards.

One thing I wonder about is all the plastic packaging we do not need - that a petroleum based product is it not?

My son's teacher calls them the "checks from China" I guess in some ways they are.

My son had a really bad skiing accident two weeks ago, so it will be spent on his medical bills. Even with insurance we're going to have to pay out about 4K.

I'm spending mine on our move to northern VA! Hubby just got a new job, starts on the 30th, so we will be moving in July, hopefully we find a place soon!!!

Mine is going towards bills, a new shower insert, new boots for hubby, a rototiller and plants for the garden. I'm also going to stock up on groceries. If there is anything left, it will go for a weekend away at the coast.

Mine will be spent locally.....we are haveing the lane(driveway) leveled, and haveing gravel brought in. I guess...there is no real way to spend it local. ie: the trucks bringing the gravel, probably foriegn, the gas for the trucks, foriegn....oh well....no more bumpy lane for me! Woohoo!

Mine will go to state of IN to pay for kid's college. I think we should put all our money together to give all lawyers, politicians a one way ticket to Iran.

Call me parinod but this seems like a scam to me! Seems like the US Goverment is 'fishing' for something! Sorta like those police stings that they call all the criminals and say "you won seats to.." the some big game or such!!! It's like everyone has to file an income tax so we can send you these 'crumbs'.

I have to remind people of this all the time.

Take those blasted red-light cameras. They are shortening yellow lights now so that they can catch more "red-light runners" so they can pay for their blasted cameras. OK, sorry for the rant, just the most recent in many upsetting events.

I heard someone say that the "rebate" is just a loan of next year's tax payments that we owe and we are all going to have to pay it back next year. I'm not sure if I believe it, but I always listen to every angle and make a judgement based upon everything I've heard.
