As an update, I had the vet check them and he thought their "sacks" were too big to band. He did a manual testicle removal on both of them. A week and a half later they will rejoin their friends today. Thanks to all for the advice! Very much appreciated!

Thank you for the replies. Based on the feedback, I will not band them. They are minis, but one of them has a pretty big set on him. It just seems too......uncomfortable to go the banding route.

I was going to mention a tool called Bordezio which I see one of the local farmers offering to rent out.. Still posting it for anyone who might come across this thread in the future. It's called bloodless castration and works by crushing the sperm tubes..
