whey for drink?

Hi! Does anybody know if whey is good for chickens? Just looking for more thinks to do with the stuff. Thanks! They say it is good for dogs and cats coats....

I used to mix it with ground oatmeal....made a great mash that was gobbled up. And it's an easy way to add extra protein if you're raising meat birds.....

Thanks! No meat birds, just 7 5 week olds. I will only give them a little at a time. They seem to LOVE trying out anything new!
