So I meandered over to this section and decided to ask y'all a question
Out of ostriches, emus and rheas, which are more friendly?
When we were in Texas, we went through a lot of petting zoos, and ALL the emus were friendly, but all the rheas were little devils!!! There was one who'd take food from your hand but attempt to remove your finger as well.
We only saw one ostrich, and it wasn't tame really, but it didn't attempt to remove my finger....
There was one rhea who was so sweet though. It was white (ok no idea if it was a rhea actually) had big blue eyes, was all poofy and wouldn't eat from your hand but would take the food if you through it in the air.
So what's your guys personal experience with which seems more friendly?
Sweety pie rhea
Devil rheas
