Forgot about the gender part. Just wondering If you bought from Meyers how expensive would it be?
No problem and the prices are as follows
F speckled Sussex.......$4.56
F Mille Fleur d'uccle......$24.10
F black frizzle cochin bantam.......$22.10
F blue laced red wyandotte.......$15.37
F BBS Ameraucana.......$26.76
F salmon favarolles......$5.83
Mareks vaccinations for 6 chicks which will be for 5 once I choose ......$1.00
Shipping.....$50.00
Tax....$9.26
Total(but remember +/-the Ameraucana or favarolles).....$164.01 (OUCH)
So the price difference is clear between the Ameraucana and Favarolles is clear but no biggie

I think this is a super tough decision! One question? Do you have a rooster? I have a frizzled Marans and a frizzled Polish and their feathers are super fragile and roosters break them really easily 😩 My frizzle Marans was so pretty and now she wears a saddle and has an almost naked neck 😩😩 Frizzles also get cold really easily. Is your heart set on the frizzle over either of the other two? I do love the fun feathers, but they are definitely more high maintenance than Ams or SFs! 😁 Just my two cents! If you are set on the others, I’d lean towards the true Ameraucana simply because they are so hard to find and I personally adore them! I have 2 Lav Ams roosters, 1 blue Wheaten hen, 1 splash pullet, 1 blue pullet, 1 black chick and 2 blue wheaten bantam pullets and every one of them is sweet, friendly, and a bit of a weirdo which I love. 😍 I’m looking into showing and breeding Ams because they just seem like the most perfect chicken to me! 😍 Although d’Uccles come in a very close second!

Yes I have a roo but he is a silkie bantam and it's not a very motivated little boy he is good at providing and protecting but doesn't over mate his ladies he's very good to them. Also we live in FL so cold is no problem for us. I am fine spending a little more care for that little one, I have never liked frizzle bur now I love them lol 😆 I am definitely set on others so set that was my final choice but then I seen those 2 and want one:barnie. Thanks for your opinion and help! :jumpy:clap

If it was like a beginner friendly thing and it wasn’t a poll I would definitely go with something else. And I haven’t heard of those chicken. I may of missed them in my standard of perfection if they are in it.

Yes they are in the standard. I just made this to decide what breed to get they are both wonderful easy (in my opinion) to own breeds. I would say beginner friendly. They are not very common but that doesn't mean they aren't good breeds there rarity is what I love

I hope your choice goes well. Go with your gut. I knew my three pullets (6 week old) were coming this A.M. I was up all night with a horrible gut feeling that something wasn't going to be okay... I got the call, raced up to get them. Opened the box and two didn't make the trip from Ohio. The one that did is sitting next to me sleeping.

Are you going to get replacements?
