Which breed would you recommend?

Which one of the following breeds would you recommend on being a fairly good pet and layer?

-Crevecoeur
-Houdan
-Spitzhauben
-Brabanter
-Sultan

Where do you live and what is your housing like?
The reason I ask is that, although hardy, none of them are good in inclement weather.
If it rains, freezes, etc. and you don't have nice clean inside area for them in those conditions it can be messy.
They all can make good pets but the Crevecours can be aggressive and Spitzes are flighty.
Spitzhaubens, Creves are good layers
Some strains of Sultans and Houdans are good layers too
I don't know much about Brabanters except that they were extinct and recreated. They're supposed to be docile and good layers..
