It is storming here. Lightning popped so low and loud I think I came 2 feet out of my chair

Last year a lightening bolt hit 20 feet from our house. Knocked out the power, internet, and cell booster. Ears rang for a bit and sparks went everywhere. My hubby was on the porch and saw it touch down.. scared the crap outta him!

I love thunderstorms. But maybe not quite that violent

So, basically an antenna?

Several years ago I had one that had a magnetic base. You plugged into your cell phone. It had a cable so you ran it out your window and stuck it to the roof of your truck.
