Every time I mow I'm astounded at the amount of feathers. The Orps all look patchy, the Buttercups have no tails, and the other birds all just look icky.

My one non broody silkie hen looks like a ragged Scarecrow now. Sucks, I was hoping to put some silkie eggs into the Ag class basket and I shoved all the ones I had already under other hens.

This mama is awfully scary looking

She's one of the sweetest mama's though and so strong. She was attacked by a racoon a few months ago defending an earlier clutch
