I'm working on that aspect, too. I have hostas and ferns in there, in the center, plus a peony.
I just have to find the "right" thing. It has to speak to me, you know?

I want to do something with my front yard. Ideally I'd like to trun it into a butterfly garden. But um, I kinda am not the greatest at garden planning.

This is my sad little flower bed. I planted the two violas last weekend. I think I need to just dig the whole thing up and expand it and start again.

I hate these bushes. And who plants flowers *behind* bushes?? Both have been here since I moved in.

I had hostas. Hate them and pulled them out the first year we lived here. I have a nice rhodadendren(spelled wrong I'm sure) that blooms so pretty. I also have loads of tulips, hyacyinths, and daffodils. Then I plant the annuals. I enjoy planting, so to me, it's not work. I also have a lilac bush and snap dragons. Did have lilies but the dumbass dog ate them last year and got poisoned and I had to rush him to the er vet
