Hark, mine ears have caught a falsity uttered by the self-proclaimed Queen of Nutters herself!

Now everyone will definitely mistake me for a man. Maybe I'll get paid more! 😃
Talk about the subject of another heated debate! 😂 That’s an excellent choice. I’ll start it off. Where I work (not to be named in public forum), men and women get paid exactly the same within the same job title. And yes, plenty of women and men work in the same job title.

My highest paid members of staff are both women. Theyr'e also both walking the walk and deserve every penny. We are big believers in the aristocracy of talent at my workplace.

I'm just teasing. Everyone in the same position gets paid the same at my employer too.

Is that a fancy way of saying merit?
It goes a bit deeper than that. Merit applies fairly equally as a principle to everyone. If you work to meet or exceed your goals you merit a higher increase comparatively. The aristocracy of talent is a mindset that values real life, practical experience equally or greater than a degree or certificate (or stupid gender bias). It's awesome if a candidate has a degree, but I'm not going to pay them more than the person with multiple years of hands-on experience applying for the same role simply because they got up and made it to class on time for 4 years in college. Show me what you've got. Earn a bigger slice of the pie, and I'll bend over backwards to put that pie on your plate. I don't care if you're a man or a woman or a talking plant. I'm paying you for your brains and talent, and the better you are at your job, the more I'm gonna want to pay you.

That's what the aristocracy of talent is about.
