I believe the responses I got from the ones that had experienced both extremes, basically said they would rather be colder with less humidity than deal with more humidity in our more moderate winters. The heat was pretty much the same. They would rather have 100+ temps with low humidity than have 90-100 and high humidity. I’m not gonna go search it out though. I felt like we were complaining too much but apparently we are not.I don't recall the research being about cold in the south specifically, but rather damp cold being bad vs places that don't deal with humidity.

Ooh I'm looking at getting a kiko buck. I'm downsizing and getting into dairy cows, the goats are a little too fragile for me to depend upon.
