Which celebrities have chickens??

Chuck Norris has chickens. I live close to his ranch called Lone Wolf. He bought a building from the same Company I did & converted it into a Coop.. I think its his wife that actually started their raising chickens. I bet they have some high dollar chickens.

Lmao, I have done that a few times. We need a like option!!

Yes, we DO need a like button, I look for one all the time, absentmindedly. That should have been one of the new site additions!

If I remember correctly, Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother (Elizabeth Bowles-Lyon, not the current Queen) used to own some Buff Orpingtons, but I'll take a look into it, because I'm not 100% sure.

ETA: http://www.orpingtons.co.uk/orpingtons
It
says 'The Buff Orpington is the most recognized breed and most popular colour of Orpington, mainly due to the Queen Mother keeping them.'

Hope this helps.

Hannah Montana movie is the reason I had to get chickens! My 3 year old LOVEEEEEEEEED it that miley sang to them - and yes - she does sing to our chickens. So far they tend to like "twinkle twinkle lil star" and "if you're happy & you know it flap your wings" but they just won't cooperate and flap! The stubborn beasts! lol

Of course - now they are more for me than her - she got bored real fast - but she does still love to collect the eggs - and thank each chicken personally for making her eggs... even the roosters..

Here is the interview with Miley Cyrus on Jimmy Kimmel Live talking about chickens. Jimmy seems genuinely interested in getting chikens himself.

Did you see the Oprah show with Barbara Streisand? She has chickens, at which she proudly stated that her hens lay blue eggs!! Can't get better then that!

'Low class citizens'.....hummmmm....well, I'm an elected official and am asked to speak at different events and for clubs throughout the year. In my bio that whomever reads while introducing me, I always include a personal blurb about keeping backyard chickens. I'm not a celebrity but I'm pretty sure that the people that have elected me for 4, four year terms don't think I'm a 'low class citizen'. I'm real sure that I am not...

Your city council member must have a very sheltered existance to be so ignorant. She sounds very feaful that her sophisticated lifestyle may be in jeopardy. You won't change her mind no matter who keeps chickens that she may admire. I'm sure she would think that 'the servants take care of the livestock, far away from the main house', anyway.

Do a search on here for how others have convinced the city to accept chickens and work on the other council members. It just amazes me that such closed minded people get elected to represent us all...sheesh....
