Which Color Silkie Should I Get

Should I get a blue, partridge, black or white which do you silkie owners out there like most? Which color is the most popular?

It's really what you want. For us to tell you what color to get would be imposing on your opinions. I love the buff silkies. But that's my own opinion. White shows dirt too much for my own tatstes. But that depends on your set up. But all in all, look at the different colors and get what you like best. I wish you luck with your birds!

The only problem at all is that I like to take photographs and black is very hard to photograph, details disappear and if you lighten - well, pretty soon she's not black at all.
I have two up-and-coming young Silkies (unnamed), one is light gray, the other dark gray. Much better.

I would suggest getting what ever color you like the best, but everything for the past few years around here is everything blue. That will fade but right now that color is the new rave.

the color that you like the most. as they aslo come in buff, calico, paint and more. me personally i dont like the solid colors and plan on getting calico, paint, and partridge
