Hello!
Surprise! Hen went broody 1 week after deworming the flock with safeguard. I have some eggs from pre-worming that have been sitting at room temperature for a week or 2. Which would you recommend? 7-14 day old clean eggs, or fresh eggs from hens dewormed a week ago? Or neither?

I would only use fresh, unwashed, clean eggs from healthy and parasite free birds between the age of 2-5 years old.

After deworming add some poultry vitamins to their water for three days, prepare fresh every day.

Only use eggs of normal size and shape and make sure to always candle each egg to see if there are any blood or meat spots inside or other issues such as cracks or too thin/porous shells.

Good luck and happy hatching!
