Which hatchery would you choose?

LOL!! I just went through my chicks to split them with a neighbor and found... a roo!
How do I know it's a roo? Easy - It's a black sex link & it has a white spot on its head! (I ordered all pullets.)
That's a little silly, to order sexed birds & have the only roo be a BSL!!
I called Meyer & they were very nice... offered me a refund & told me if there were any more problems just to call.
Despite the silly mistake - I still recommend Meyer.

In the last three years I've ordered several times from both M. McMurry and Ideal for my chickens - no problems. For my Geese I used Holderread's & Metzer Farms - they've been awesome as well. Highly recommend all of these!

I just got one of there "Hatchery Surprise" No choice of kind or amount of birds but they guarantee a bargain I got 65 chicks
( looks like a good half are hens and a good assortment too ) 1 duck and 2 black spanish turkeys all for $39.95
