which is the proper way to decomb a rooster

is their anyone that can help me I am not sure what to do this is my first time having chickens!! roo's comb is to big for his head which didn't bother me until it got to the point I blocks his eye.. now is eye keep pussy up because the moister cant get out.. so can you trim the comb or train it to stand on??? I notice its really fat on top almost like a triple comb.






 
Anesthetic is horribly dangerous for birds. Birds are almost never anesthetized because of the risk that they will die from the anesthesia is greater than the risk of dying from the shock of surgery.

Yes, 100% true. More birds die easily under anesthesia then any other animal.


If anyone is worried about possible pain during dubbing, maybe make a natural numbing solution with cloves.
