Yup same. I really hoped for a roster. I was stupid and knew nothing about chickens when I ordered them and now have no rooster.

Yes, craigslist, or the buy/sell/trade section of this forum, or the thread specific to your state in another section of this forum. Plenty of people need to rehome male chickens: they got straight run chicks or they hatched some eggs but they cannot keep all the males, or one of their "pullets" turned out to be male and they aren't allowed to have any males at all.

Or see if a hen goes broody in the spring, then buy her some fertile eggs to hatch and plan on keeping a male from those chicks.

People also sell not sick birds on CL. I sell all mine through CL - BYC is too unreliable because people are from all over so who knows if someone in your area wants your birds.

Just gotta have a good quarantine. And maybe a good eye.
