Which Male?

I agree. If I hadn't already have bought from them once I would have never driven 6 hours round trip to buy a bird sight unseen.
I actually felt sorry for them as it has been brutally hot here with huge thunderstorms interspersed between the heatwaves and to be camping out in that.... The birds are probably no better off and they have a lot of them. What got me was he looked and sounded fine until about 1/2 hour into the drive home. I guess when he started to relax is when he started to cough. When my husband first saw him he didn't believe me that he was sick, again it took awhile before he relaxed and started coughing again. And I thought I was getting better at being able to spot a sick bird!

Let's hope the cough is just a little thing caused by his stress and all will be better soon. Bless His poor little peafowl heart. and chest!

It you can find something stronger that would be great. The feed stores there don't sell Tylan? Can you order it and have it shipped in? but then again that probably wouldn't be any quicker than your vet. Hope he get better for you!!!!!!

You can't buy tylan over the counter up here, you need a vet prescription. I was planning on driving across the border for it but the vet that dog trains at our place said they will confiscate it as it is prescription only up here. She is the one that is being nice enough to get me the "just in case" tylan, baytril and metronizadol so I don't have to become a cross border peafowl drug smuggler LOL! My own vet didn't want to know, after 17 years and countless $ spent.
The bird is still coughing but eating and drinking and seems perky. Wednesday seems like foever away right now.
