Roo's name from top to bottom (pepper, nori, bean, and bacon.)
Note* they're only four months old I don't think they're fully feathered.

I recently bought 12 chicks from a local farm and four recently started to crow, so now I have to make a decision on which to keep:hit:he.
I'm trying to pick one that would make the cutest offspring and my hens are a mixture of light Brahma, barred rock/cuckoo maran, buff Cochin, white leghorn, and different types of "red sexlinks" looking hens

Also* any tips on how I should sell them? Where should I sell them and should I give them away or do people buy roosters?

Definitely keep the one who has a good temperament and wants to stay away from you. I have had roosters be my friends until they meet their ladies and then constantly try to kill me. I like my stand-offish roo Lemy the best cause he keeps his distance.

Also, this isn't the kindest thing to mention but roosters are common and everyone wants to get rid of them. Maybe consider keeping a backup separate from the rest and then cull the others. It's not always easy, but neither is getting rid of them or trying to sell. Good luck!

I agree about temperament being most important. You definitely don't want to reproduce a bad temperament. If you're going for looks you may want to research the traits you are looking for and what you need to get them. Hopefully someone on here might know more what specific traits are you wanting to reproduce from your hens
