Which state would you...

Yep, I've moved 17 times, lived in CT the longest and it is def the most expensive. If it wasn't for the DH that lives here and made me move here to marry him, I'd be in OK or maybe TN.

I'm traveling to Texas for a mini-vacation soon, so I'll let you know for sure in a couple weeks!

I LOVED Arizona, but I don't think I could live there forever. Flagstaff was gorgeous, but the rest of Arizona lacked trees. I haven't really been too many other places except along the east coast, and I actually like NJ out of all the states I've been to around here. MA was nice, and I would probably like Maine but haven't been there in ages.

I'm hoping to do an internship over the summer out of state to get a feel for living in other areas. I may also consider doing grad/med school in another state so I can live in another state, but not permanently.

Hey, we have trees!

Much of AZ just has different types of native subtropic trees other than the native pines and such that grow in higher elevations.

Squishy, but AZ is generally expensive on everything, rents are high, and it's terribly hot in the summers...although there's no shortage of cute guys in cowboy hats.

OHIO! I live about 40 minutes from Tipp City. Prices are MUCH more affordable than in PA, at least! We moved 7 years ago and haven't regretted it once!

If I could pick this farm up and put it down anywhere I chose, I would be back living in western NC. It will always be home to me.

MISSOURI! I woudl never live anywhere else! I love it here. I live in SW MO just 30 miles North of Springfield...(Springfield just passed that you can have chickens in the city limits now) I have lived in NW MO too when I went to college--very close to Iowa and NE---winters were too long for me.

If I could choose any of the places you listed, it would be Kentucky. I worked there for 2 years when I was young, and thought it would be a great place to live. Even the cities seemed like country to me, having grown up in Detroit.
