Wow, congrats. I particularly don't care for selling male quail personally. They're easy enough to dress out at 8 weeks for me.
I hatch about 125 quail per month, I could never keep all those boys (60+) for 8 weeks haha. I’m super glad to sell them for feeders right away, and then I just focus on the hens.

Yeah, I only have about 2-3 months I can have quail chicks in the house, so that's 2 or 3 batches of 20~ eggs a piece. I'll look into reptile breeders though. Do you sell live or frozen?

I sell live. A guy asked me to sell frozen, but I would have to put live chicks in the freezer to freeze to death, because I can’t cut their heads off and sell chick chunks. I have no problem culling a sick chick or an adult for food, but murdering chicks in an inhumane way is not for me.

Years ago I raised rats to feed my pet snake. I would have a litter, raise it to the right size and then freeze a bunch, and let the parents live separate until I had 3 left. I used a small gas chamber with a paintball canister I believe, to provide the gas. I put a bunch of treats and stuff in and they would happily eat, start yawning, and drift off to sleep peacefully. Then one day, one wasn’t gassed enough, and it leapt back to life and escaped. That jerk lived in my house for 3 weeks before I caught it, evading the snap traps, sticky traps, humane traps. I fed the parents to the snake and stopped raising my own rats.

My parents had a pet feeder mouse because it chewed through the paper bag it was sold in and they felt it escaped so it wanted to live.
The selling live makes sense though. I'd probably prefer to do that.

White Face Black Spanish are severely underrated breed of chickens! I would opt for them if I can. They look so regal with their white face and stark black feather. They are very fashionable chickens I say. Lol
And they seem to be pretty good layers. Once my girls started laying, I get an egg from each just about every day. More than 6 out of 7. I have yet to see what they do when the summer heat gets here but so far, lots of eggs. I don't have an egg measure but I'd say they're medium sized. Not huge eggs like my 'lorpes or leghorns and they don't eat as much as some of my other hens and the girls are super friendly. Nix will come to my daughter when called.
