(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
My family has had chickens for at least 7 years. Can’t remember exactly when we got our first flock.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We have 18 chickens, just acquired a new one today.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Oh so many. We’ve got several bantams, a Delaware, speckled Sussex, blue Andalusian.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Seeing them grow from cute little chicks to sassy adults.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I love reading and writing in my spare time.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We have a zoo at home, 2 rabbits, 2 dogs, and 2 sugar gliders. I work at a local pet supply store.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
BYC always comes up w brevet I search for something chicken related. I decided to join because I just got a new chicken and have no idea what breed she is.
