Burn sniffed her nose and huffed, "Sure seemed like it, you clumsy bat."
Frosty stuck out his tongue at her. "You shouldn't talk to your elders like that." He replied, sitting down and curling his tail over his feet, trying to appear regal. "I'm an apprentice; you're still a kit."

"Apprentice with less skill than a newborn. I could hunt like that, I lived on my own. I hunted for myself and my brother. Beat that!"

"Yeah, right," Frosty muttered, though his eyes got a strange look in them. He was remembering his own kithood. "Uh, have you seen my mentor, Frog?" He asked, trying to change the subject.

Blaze padded through the camp, watching the cats bickering over whether to hunt in the twolegplace. It didn't make any difference to her.

Clay angrily clawed at the ground. Tribe Law says not to trust twolegs! We can't hunt right outside their dens!

Frosty crouched, wiggled his rump, and pounced, missing the leaf he was trying to catch and landing on his face.

Eagle, meanwhile, returned to camp with no prey. He hadn't had any luck hunting, and it hasn't helped that Lichen was boasting about his stealth the whole time. But, Eagle didn't hold grudges, due to his easygoing nature.

Cas sat on a tree branch, eating a skinny mouse. He felt hunger gnawing at him, and you could see how it had effected him. His normally glossy pelt was thin and his shoulders stood out sharply. Avoiding both the territory of the tribe and the rogue group had made him resort to crowfood.
Drops solemnly acknowledged Eagle before disappearing into his den.
"Yeah, right," Frosty muttered, though his eyes got a strange look in them. He was remembering his own kithood. "Uh, have you seen my mentor, Frog?" He asked, trying to change the subject.
Frog stood behind him, tall and overbearing. Pieces of mud clung to his stringy blue fur.

Burn blinked in surprise as a shadow appeared over her. “Oh, hello Frog!”
"Hi!" Frog said cheerfully, sauntering his way around Frosty. "I have been summoned. For what? Training? You need work on that. Lack of food of course doesn't help in the learning," he sighed heavily.
