Lightning was taken aback. She had expected, even hoped that a fight would result from her rudeness. The scornful look fell off her face "Alright...sure." She circled Cricket and looked her over with great scrutiny. "Chin up...that's right. Now fluff up your ruff and breeches, Toms like that. You haven't got much, but fluff it up. Very good. Now make grouchy eyes but smile." Lightning and Rumble took a step back and looked her over. Rumble licked his paw and twisted the fur on top of Crickets ears into neat little tufts. "Yes, that adds just the right touch." Lightning said nodding. "Faaaaabulous!" Rumble chirped

Raven had to put her tail over her muzzle, to stop her laughter from coming out, but she doubted this gesture would escape Lightning.
