White chick from French Black Copper Marans

Bought 12 hatching eggs from seller on ebay. Pure French Black Copper marans and that is all they have on the place. !00% positive feedback rating on seller. One I hatched:/ is solid white. Huh? Think maybe they are not pure bred? Just wondering, don't know anything about them.

It's hard for breeders to breed out, since it's a recessive trait, and only shows up occasionally.

maybe band that one, so you'll know who it is. If it's a girl, it will be obvious, but if it's a boy, it will look very similar to the BCMs.

You'll know by 2 wks if it's a male or female. Wheaten males start to feather in with black down the back females don't have as much black on them.
