White chickens vs Normal chickens

a fox wouldnt dare attack an adult they are not suicidal i saw a pitbull kill one, an emus kick can do some serious damage but some dogs are too strong. I am not sure about coyotes, they should be fine around but who knows. Domestic animals are always diff from the wild ones. In the wild only the strongest ones survive but in farms we breed the ones we like with the mild manners. So some might not fight they might get scared. I don't think it will get scared of a fox though. To a medium large dog a fox is just like a cat.

A fox would dare to attack one.. I've seen it.. hated to shoot her because I know she had babies she was trying to feed.. but I couldn't have her attacking my emus at night while they were bedded down

a sleeping emu looks like a big goose to a fox.. they smell poultry and don't avoid the emu just because of the size

foxes arent big game killers, you saw a fox attack an adult emu with your eyes? you sure it didnt have have some kind of sickness?

nope.. she wasn't sick.. and I did see her (hence shooting her and saving her pelt and skull).

Now if you want to call me a liar go ahead.. but I have no reason to lie about a fox going after one of my emus

granted it's not an everyday occurrence.. it was earlier this year..my neighbor had been doing quite a bit of construction at his place.. so small game was very scarce due to all the construction equipment which he had been using. she had babies she was feeding so she was more than a bit desperate and also wouldn't have gone too far from her den to find food. We had reinforced our coops so the only game she had access to would have been our mini horses (which foxes don't look at as food), goats (also not on the menu) or big poultry smelling birds (poultry is on their menu).. She chose to go after the emu. Her luck wasn't good that evening since my husband and I had come home late and heard the dogs up at the house having a fit.. so we grabbed the guns and went out to see what was going on.. saw her make a leap onto one of the sleeping emus and she became one less momma fox in the world.

so to answer the question of can a fox attack an emu the answer is a YES.. after all if a baby emu smells like dinner to a fox.. why should a desperate mother fox feel any differently about a grown one.
