About 7wks ago I got 25 assorted brown egg layers. I have 5 white pullets that started out yellow. If they wern't sold as brown egg layers I would say they were simply leghorns. Is there a plain large white hen that lays brown eggs? They are totally white, yellow feet, yellow ears.

White rocks, white cochins and white giants. Hope that helps.

White giants have willow colored legs and feet. Only the bottoms of the feet are yellow in White Giants. White Cochins have feathers on their legs.

I would assume White Plymouth Rock as well.

Does willow colored mean green? These are completely white chickens, larger than all the others I bought, and they have yellow feet, yellow combs (so far), yellow beak, etc.

That's not a white Giant....that's a white Orpington.

These are my White Giants, notice the leg color:

You can barely see the yellow coloration of the bottoms of their feet coming through.

A White Orpington has white legs. A White Plymouth Rock has yellow legs. A White Jersey Giant has willow colored legs.
