MAY I RECOMMEND BOBS OR VALLEYS? THEY ARE ABOUT THE EASIEST QUAIL SPECES TO CANDLE

X2...............white eggs...........one of the two benefits of raising Bobs.

X3 yes i can candle a tray of 100 all at one time. just set tray over lighted area ,in a dark room, pick out the clear ones , good thing too as candling a 1000 would take forever.

Gambles are pretty easy to candle as well

Do you think white eggs are thinner or more porus than regular eggs?

NO AT LEAST WAYS NOT NOTICEABLY SO... THEY ARE SIMPLY MISSING THE FINAL PAINT WHICH GOES ON LAST.... IS A PRIMERED CAR OFF THE ASSEMBLY LINE THINNER THAN 1 PAINTED? OH AND FOR THE RECORD... GRAB 1 WHILE ITS STILL WET AND THE PAINT WILL COME OFF ON YOUR HANDS

We do know why, it just passed through too fast.

Sometimes it happens in young layers that are still working out the kinks.

Just a FYI, I pickle alot of cort eggs. I boil them and soak in cider vinegar shell and all. After about 1 hr, all the brown is floating on the top of the bowl. The brown is literally just on top of the shell like paint. After 12 hrs there is only membrane no shell at all. Peel it like a grape. Bill
