White Crested Black Polish chickens

I noticed that from the very beginning. I just don’t know why they picked on the Brahma. She is larger than the others but she is very timid. She is very protective of the Polish and she frets if she doesn’t know where they both are.

My brahma can be motherly, but don't mess with her food.

All pullets! Brahmas do have a tendency to be picked on. My White Crested Black Polish in contrast were actually a bit aggressive which was interesting

I am learning a lot about the breeds. One of my Polish chickens is very demanding. She tells me EXACTLY when she wants me to give her (and her sisters) their bedtime snack. She thinks that she is the big boss of the flock, LOL!

Oh! My Brahma just about takes my fingers off when I am feeding her from my hand. None of the other chickens do that.

I think she will outgrow it. Most of my birds do. But I do not have a Brahma.

Not sure about the Polish though.

I guess time will tell.

Well, we had rain ALL day and last night! Linny and Squiggy refused to stay out of the rain today! My Pearl White Leghorns look like they were mud running around the pen and loving it!
