white crusty face

I've got a Silky with a bunch of white crusty stuff on her face. Does not look like lice eggs.
Clogged up her ear hole a bit, which I picked at and unclogged, which looks a bit swollen now.
She is eating and drinking just fine, and only behavior difference is just her scratching at her face now.
During the day, she hangs out in a large dirt and grass run. at night she sleeps in a nice big coop.

It could be favus, which is an fungal infection.

x2 Favus. Wear disposable gloves and apply Miconazole cream to the effected areas until healed. It is contagious to other birds.

I think my silkies have this. Would Monistat cream work just as well?

Monistat is miconazole, and you can use that or clotrimazole.
