White eggs vs Brown eggs sales

Hey everyone,

I work with a lady that sells chicken eggs. She told me all her current chickens lay brown eggs but she temporarily had a couple hens that laid white eggs. She told me she had a hard time selling the white eggs.

I have a 3 golden campine pullets that haven't started laying yet and they will lay white eggs once they do. Does that mean if I have any extra eggs I will probably have a hard time selling them?

How about any of you guys on this forum do you sell any white eggs?

Hello There,

I have chickens in which that, only are brown egg layers.
Maybe in the near future I will consider selling those "excess" eggs.

I believe that white egg layers a bit over bred. Brown are more likely original.
(In my opinion). Maybe that's why. Good luck!

I'm going to be in the same boat. I have both white and brown layers. Don't know yet how it will go.

I sell mixed color eggs. White, brown, green, blue, pink and dark brown. The white eggs make the carton pop as they enhance the other colors. Don't worry about them. Just fill the cartons and sell them.
