Thanks for the offer,
But my chickens funds are $ 0.00 right now.

I'm in the middle of Repairing old Coops, building some new ones & some ladscaping projects.

Are you a breeder? Maybe later in the year, I can take you up on the offer.

Thanks Again,
Josh.

He's some pics of ly lonely pullets parents before they were sold...

I was reading where the white faced black spanish were one of the first breeds imported to America...have any of you all heard or read that?

No never heard they were some of the 1st breeds here.

I know they use to be popular because of their eggs & meat way more popular than they are today.

it's in "Storey's Illustrated Guide To Poultry Breeds", and it mentions that they were the first brought to the U.S"....I don't think I have ever seen any growing up, but I attended a fair a couple of years ago and someone had them, I just thought they were so cool. Now, I have to have some.

My chicks are now about 6 weeks old. I noticed today that their face fuzz is beginning to thin out a bit, with just a hint of white starting to peek through. Strangely, one of the cockerels has the oddest comb - it almost looks like the walnut comb of a Silkie. Obviously, he shouldn't stay in a breeding program, but does anybody have any idea where it could have come from?
