One of my salmon Favorelles has white froth in her eye. Wondering if someone knows what this is???
Her eye is usually pretty foggy, does that mean she’s blind? She doesn’t flinch when I come up from that side either, and she’s a very skittish bird.
She sure is cute. The cloudy eye could be from a number of things. Could be from an injury or from an infection. If she's had the cloudy eye long before this URI, I would bet it's from an old injury. As to whether she's blind, we can't determine that through pictures.
I would get the Tylosin (Tylan) while they have it in stock. It is getting very scarce to find. The Terramycin eye ointment can be found online and at TSC. She may have MG a respiratory disease that also causes conjunctivitis (pinkeye.)
