This is Lemonade, she is nearly 1.5 years old. I went out this evening to check on everyone and noticed she looked uncomfortable. I picked her up and found what appeared to be a prolapsed vent and some white diarrhea. SEE PICTURES, her vent was out more than it is in the pictures. I brought her in and promptly soaked her in Epson salts and applied honey to her vent. I am newer to chickens, she is from my first ever batch of chicks last year. She has been healthy otherwise. Of course, she is our best and most friendly chicken.
I do not have anyone else with these symptoms, as far as I know, she has been eating and drinking, her crop is not empty, it's the end of the day here. I have 23 hens, and just realized we have a new rooster (he is not exhibiting rooster behavior yet, but it's only a matter of time). The chickens have a large coop inside of our barn with two different roosting areas, a combo of pine shavings, and hemp bedding at the moment. I am currently sourcing hemp, I love it. They have an outdoor run but for the most part they free-range all day. I rarely have them fenced in unless someone is not home. They have multiple water sources that are cleaned at least every other day if not daily, although they do drink from the horses water troughs which are not cleaned out as regularly, once a week or so. There are 3 different feeder stations with Blue Seal Extra Egg Layer pellets, I will be changing the feed to All Flock with the discovery of Kevin.

Any idea what I am dealing with here? Also, treatment ideas are much appreciated.

Update: she is extremely uncomfortable now. She’s just standing in one spot, she wants to sleep but will not lay down. 😢

When is the last time she laid an egg? Is it possible that she is egg bound and an egg broke inside of her?
Thank you for responding. I am not sure of when she laid her last egg. I did check externally for an egg and do not feel one, she’s not pushing like she’s trying to push an egg out. I was wondering if that was an option with the color of the discharge

I've not had any egg bound hens, so no personal experience. I do have a hen with a stubborn case of vent gleet. Her discharge is a few drops at a time at the most and her vent looks fairly normal. She has also never looked like she felt bad. Pidgey's poop also looks normal even though she has had the vent gleet for a while
Has Lemonade had any normal looking poop or is it just the runny discharge?

Interesting, Lemonade has had a dirty booty in the past. I have just cleaned it up in a bath.

So there was a small prolapse that I worked gently back in. I regret not taking a picture. But then she started to ooze this slimy discharge more. Would she get worse before getting better?
She would only get worse if you didn't do anything about it, but since you did something she's hasn't gotten much worse.
The oozing of the vent is most likely because of the prolapse.
