White Orpingtons

They are still young so they should hopefully fill out some more...and I have not been home to take care of them so all of my birds are not in the best of shape. Everyone was doing the best they could but they were not taking care of them like I would have...but I can't complain because I was able to keep them and it was a lot of extra work for my family. They know how much I love them so they all pitched in so I would not have to get rid of them. I have a GREAT family!

I really appreciate what they did!

Wow Redstick, those are very pretty hens, now I can`t wait for mine to come in March.

Tiffany, BTW, whats the good word on the 4 eggs, are they coming along nicely? are they due to hatch soon, I`ve lost track of days. hehe!! talk to you soon. Tony

Hey Tony,
I am glad you were able to see the pictures!...I was worried it would get too far down and you would not see that I posted them. I was thinking about bumping it back up.

Mine are sweet little pullets so I hope yours are the same. Good Luck with them...and post some pictures when you get them.

Hi Mitzi
Very pretty bird, I have Blue and Buff Orps coming (eggs). I heard someone mention that you can get Black and Speckled Orps from the Blues. Hadn't heard of th Whites until this thread. I may have to add some to my collection of Orps down the road.

Hey RedStickLA,

Beautiful Orp pullets you have there. I am a Orp fan myself. I am new to BYC but am really enjoying it. Super site!

I have a flock of white Orps on order due to deliver next week along with 5 other breeds. My buff orps are 1 yr. old but all this mud and water is playing havoc with me. I am building 1,000 ft. of poulty fencing and renovating my coops and brooders trying to overcome all this moisture.
