I guess I'm not used to my girl being a "her" because she's the biggest of my three by far, but when put in context as above, I can see you're right

Okay so this morning there was a definate but quiet cock-a-doodle-doo, and again around 10am coming from my dear white chicken.

Is she still a pullet or should I be looking for a new home for him/her? (we can't have roosters in metropolitan areas in Australia)

I thought it was a rooster. If it's crowing, then I'm 99.9% sure it is. Sometimes hens do crow, but it is normally older ones with hormone issues.
