These birds are so huge and awesome looking. I mean gotta love the good'Ol leghorn for produc tivity... But this beast is somethin else.

Mine is a white Chantecler, my favorite breed. Solo, now gone, weighed in at 8+ pounds, and was a very nice guy.
Small combs and wattles, larger dual purpose, cold hardy birds, love them!

It really is weird though. You sure he's 6 months? I'd be expecting more combing even from a female at that age. And more male feathering by now.

Two weeks shy of 6 months. Exactly what I'm thinking, Practically no comb or wattle. I have no other roosters so I'll be checking the eggs on the hen it's been mounting.

This one is definitely strange. Almost no comb or wattles, and I'm not really seeing any cockerel feathering (though that could be due to the color). I just think a boy would be a lot more obvious by now, so I'm going to say pullet.

My MIL is insisting this is a Rooster. She's about 4-5 months old, no eggs or crowing. Just eating all of my food. These things have an appetite for sure. Anyways, Rooster?

UPDATE-
This is definitely a rooster. He's been crowing and mounting the hens. He is truly a dinosaur in size. That gray Easter egger is 6 or 7 months old and looks puny compared to him.
