Rooster or hen?

I have four chicken, they’re about 3 month old, one of them stared to crow last week and I moved it to my garage.
This brown one didn’t crow yet, and I heard it cluck this morning.Is this one a rooster or hen?
And, it’s from my son’s school project, anyone knows what’s the breed of the chicken?

Mixed breed cockerel or something I'm unfamiliar with.. feathered legs pretty much rules out hatchery RIR.

Starting as early as 10 weeks on non hen feathered breeds, gender specific pointy or rounded saddle feathers may become noticeable. Usually more flowing like the 2nd pic by around 16 weeks. Examples from google..

I agree with the others. It looks like a Rhode Island Red mix cockerel.
