I recently acquired a few chickens, and I noticed that a few of them have a white spot of their earlobe. Anyone know what this could be?

Could be a fungus of some sort?, caint say I've ever seen this before but I whould certainly quarentine thease new birds as far away as possible from your original flock and be on the look out for additional symptoms, especially coughing, snezzing, gasping or fluid coming from the eyes and nose which indicates a resperatory disease and if thease symptoms appear I whould get rid of the birds straight away and not let them anywhere near my other healthy birds as thease diseases caint ever be eradicated once contracted. Honestly I've learned the hard way that it's alway best to buy hatching eggs this way there is less chance of contracting a disease within your flock, just my honest opinion

Anyone know if it could be fowl pox? Also, another one has black on its comb; does this have anything to do with it?

I'd really need to see a picture of you're birds comb to be able to tell the difference between peck marks or scabs from peck injuries

Quite a few breeds of chickens have white earlobes. The ones with white earlobes tend to lay white eggs and the ones with red earlobes tend to lay brown eggs. There are a few excptions, and a couple of breeds look like they have blue earlobes. Sometimes crosses or hatchery bred birds don't have the full white earlobe their supposed to. It's completely normal and shouldn't be something to worry about. I'd still quarantine your birds so you can see if they have any diseases.

Here's a picture from google of a Dutch. They have large white earlobes.

And one of my crosses who is a cross between a white earlobed breed and a red earlobed breed.

No problem!

I hadn't thought of that! Thanks! The person I got her from said one of the birds laid white eggs, but I don't know if I got one of the white-egg layers. They aren't laying much right now.

I got a white egg today, and none of the birds have all-white earlobes, so I think one of them is indeed a mix. The vet doesn't think it's anything too much out of the ordinary, either, so it looks like they're fine after all! Thanks for all your help, everyone!! :)
