Whitehouse ACV

I've heard people putting ACV in chickens water helps them in numerous different ways I bough some but I bought whitehouse brand from wal mart but I noticed most people are using braggs.. Does whitehouse brand do the same? Is it still good to give it to them or no? I ordered braggs but was just wandering if the whitehouse brand does anything at all for them?

From what I have read and been told Braggs is marketed as Raw Organic ACV.... I'm not sure if White House is listed as the same.
What I understand is that the main difference is in the processing of the products. Raw Organic isn't high heat processed so maintains more of the good stuff in it that is beneficial. Im sure others will add to this or correct me if Im wrong

There is a lot of folklore (mostly unproven) about vinegar use in poultry rearing.

Whitehouse is a pasteurized product. If you want to supply "probiotics" to your birds then it's not the product you want. If you want to deter the growth of slime in your waterers, prevent lime buildup, and retard microbial growth in their water then it's fine to use.

Unless you have just a handful of birds Braggs is much too expensive to use in poultry waterers.

I bought a bottle of ACV recently (SA dried fruit brand), not organic or anything, but after giving it to my chicks and older hens I'm sold! My chicks are very healthy and happy, no pasty butt this time and my hens are laying more eggs.
