Whitehouse Quail sent me my first batch of eggs!

The brinsea incubators are designed to tilt just like this. Thats why there octagon shaped. I dont tilt the whole bator when using my cooler bator. just the egg tray inside....It works great, the eggs sit in the shipping cartons, small end down, and hatch well. Bill

Ok, here are some photos. My question is, if I lift it from the bottom doesn't the eggs just move with the light? Also, will this be high enough?

ehh... I changed it and now have something inside the bator lifting the egg crates rather than lifting the whole thing. I worry about it being to hot in there now.

Nope, no fan.

Still air bators have heat layers. The closer to the top the hotter it is. As long as they aren't high up they'll be fine.

Well if I lift the crates on the inside then one side will be higher.

So, I guess what I need to know is, should I lift on the inside or on the outside?

I would lift the outside so you don't have to open the bator up to turn the eggs.
