Whiting Farms in Co. What do you know about them?

If you want hatching eggs, check out whiting true blue on eBay. There is an auction going now. For another 23hrs. High bid is currently 15.50 plus 15 S&H
Thanks!

I will keep an eye out for them. I am working use the blue egg layers that Dr. Bramwell got from Paul Whiting and bred them in Arkansas.

These are not from WTB but from my Ideal EEs.... I finally found the hidden nest, my hens want babies so they all of a sudden went into stealth mode.... I think I lucked out on these two hens laying blue eggs.

That is great news!
Post pictures if you have them...We love to see pictures!

Ron we have them in our coop. We will keep them in to help them learn that that is their new home. We do know that the Dr. who developed the Breed worked on making their feathers suitable for Fly Fishing Lures. And we know they lay blue eggs. Will give you more info after we get to know the breed.
Our friend gave them to us.....we only had 3 chickens and she is going to have one breed Red Sex Links. I will let you know more when I learn the actions of the Breed in my Coop.

If they are like the Blues that Dr. Bramwel got from Dr. Whiting, then they will be very good egg layers and also good at flying up over fences and into trees.
They are not like a lot of bigger breeds

n, Ron let them out today....sat in a chair and feed them scratch...they are very friendly and PRETTY. Their comb is vivid red and they are light mix of beige and tan. They stayed in the chicken yard and did go in at dusk. Waiting for them to lay. I know they must get comfortable with new surroundings first.

I have two black and white mixed breeds from a neighbor and they lay light green eggs. They are working out fine. Looking forward to the Dr. Whiting Chickens laying. We do have large evergreens around our Chicken Yard....hope they do NOT venture out. DARN...not happy to hear that.
