Umm... I was supposed to get an Old Navy giftcard LOL but my dad was like, "I'll get you one on Saturday when we go to Ottawa, it's pretty much Christmas anyway, What's 2 days difference?"

I GOT 6 duck fooling eggs

6 chicken fooling eggs, and a chicken coops book. As well he bought the stuff to make the new nest boxes

TBH, I really wanted a Macbook Pro, but I didn't get it, so whatevs.

I did not, however, get a horse, but that was never very likely.

My mom made it clear before Christmas that I wouldn't get an ipod touch.

I didn't get to be with my six children and 2 grand children as it was there year to go to there Dad's.

This is the first time I have not been with my children so it's pretty quiet.
I am so grateful for my Dh as he is so sweet and understanding !

I got new winter gloves!!! Which is perfect for Michigan right now...but on Saturday it is suppose to be 55 degrees. Everything is a sheet of ice from the warm temps the past 2 days, then the wind and cold temps came back for Christmas!

The kids made some special gifts for Jon and I. Those are the best!

I made my MIL's famous coffee cake (Dannish rolls). She passed away in January, and we never got to make it together, so this was my first go at it. Turned out pretty good, didn't let it rise enough the second time though, not airy enough. I made for the neighbors and delivered also, just like my MIL use to do(she lived next door to us). Everyone was VERY surprised this morning. I can see why she did that, you get to visit with everyone on Christmas morning!

Last week I made Grandma's famous apple pie. It was good, never as good as Grandma's was though. Maybe the not having to make it yourself made it that much better! She passed away in Feburary.

The kids got the Wii gaming system. They are all very happy, all 5, actually the 2 year old could care less right now, but give him time!!!
