[IMG]Boomer is our 5 yr old mini doxie. He's only been around "chickens" for 9 wks, which is how old our girls are. Would we ever "trust" him with them unsupervised? No. We very much put everyones safety first. We've patiently worked with Boomer for 9 weeks allowing him to smell and even lick the girls. We started doing this with him when they were only 2 days old and today they are all the best of friends. [IMG] The girls see him and they come to their gate to visit w/him. Here EVERYONE is out for their morning exercise. This is truly what peace is all about...[IMG]

We're NOT suggesting this can always be done, depends on the dog and the breed.... so please use caution...[IMG]

He blends in so nicely! And you are a good chicken mom to be there supervising the kids!
