Who else can't wait to see the movie "Warhorse"? ***SPOILER ALERT**

Nope! Not me!

I was scarred at a very young age by "Ole Yellah"

I still can't believe that boy shot that dog.

Those puppet horses are amazing. The ears even move right! And I love the way the head jerks up....so realistic looking! Thanks for the link!

As far as seeing the movie...no thanks I pass on almost all animal movies. To me they all seem to go the same way. Happy beginning...then the drama starts....animal starts suffering during the middle and then it gets real sad then sometimes it ends ok but a little unsettling.
I'm still waiting for one that starts happy then continues to be happy and ends well for the animals. Now, THAT would be a movie!

well, I hope she lets you see it

Ditto that! And now I'm starting to think twice about the possibility of bursting into sobs in a movie theatre plus my eyelids swell up for a couple of days afterward but I really want to see it on the big screen.

I won't pay to see it. Ever since I found out that they killed the WarHorse because they didn't want to give him his ration of grain since he was too old to be of use anymore. He didn't have to be put down yet, it was a matter of convenience.

WRONG - sorry, Slinkytoys, no really not sorry, but you got it wrong.

The Princess and I just got home from seeing "Warhorse." Great movie? - probably not, but a really good movie and an afternoon well spent. You will love the goose, hate the landlord and enjoy the adventures of 'Joey' the Warhorse.
Bring a clean handkerchief - you may need one. I had one for the Princess. Sourland choked up a couple of times but no tears. Great cinematography - understand that it is just a movie, and have a good time. Sourland's rating: Four stars out of five.
