Who else can't wait to see the movie "Warhorse"? ***SPOILER ALERT**

Is anyone else other than me upset though that they replaced the horse with a CG'ed one for quite a few scenes that honestly, a normal horse could do? Even if the scenario is risky, the least they could do is greenscreen the background, not replace the horse with a fake, poorly done one.

Had to say it

I do special effects myself and love how we're getting more into it in the movies, but, some things just shouldn't be replaced.

I may end up going to see it with friends... but I am not waiting and don't really want to see it...
Why... well because Steven Speilburg simply cashed in on an already HUGE success of a great musical/play

They created life size puppets that are just too incredible to describe.. I am not talking a giant muppet, but a well created wire and wicker/leather creation showing all the emotion
that a real horse can. WOW!!

This show was created LONG before speilburg did his movie....
And really... there is just no comparison.

Warrior (Joey) was 33 years old and unable to be used in the war again. Because of that, they didn't want to "waste" grain feeding him, so he was put down.
His story is on The Daily Mail (a U.K. newspaper) just go to the site and search War Horse.

), but I'm really looking forward to it! I've read that book countless times during Elementary School, and a few since.

It is a good, quick read.

I saw it and it was great!! I am glad that they used a CGed horse for the dangerous scenes, because my 8 year old sister was crying because the horse got hurt.
