Who else got some 2013 chicks?!

I got a question for anyone. I'm new to this really. We had them when I was a kid at grandparents. I got my order in today and I only ordered 11 chicks(4 Barred Rocks,3 Buff Rocks, 3 White Rocks and 1 Partridge Rock). The said that is was only partial box that they would send extra males but not know the breeds. OK now the question.......Which ones are the ones I ordered? I mean some look the same and some don't. Do I just have to wait until they are bigger to find out? The Partridge Rock is what I got as my rooster. So confused

Got my shipment from Ideal yesterday. I ordered 6 with males for warmth. I got 12 chicks total. I have no clue which are males. 3 have no feathers on their neck. I called and they said they were Turkins and were not used for warmth. opps. I hope they re girls. I will post pics later.

Yes, it will be fun to see what happens! Really hoping s/he is a HE as I ordered all females with the others thinking they would probably give me a male for a mystery chick... If not, I have friends with extra roosters so I have a back-up plan.

BTW I saw you said you were from NE and since your last two letters are ri I wonder if you are from Rhode Island. I am originally from Warwick but have lived in Florida for 30 years now.

Yes, I live in Rhode Island, just bought a 3 acre farm in North Kingstown, just next to Warwick!

When I received mine from Ideal, they were marked with a purple stripe on their heads to show which were males. It was also marked on the invoice that they were marked. My males are all the same breed, they all look different than my pullets.
