Have set 14 polish eggs as a test batch from my own flock for the first time!! So excited to see what's going to happen with them as it's the unknown. Here are are a couple of pics.

Some day I would love to get one of those bators. The LG seems to take a lot of maintenance to keep it going right

here is my 8 little indian count. I got these from a neighbor during a cold snap, Early on I discovered #1 had a crack.#6-8 were clears, and #5was a quitter. So I have 3 eggs that are viable. and are on day 12.

A diff neighbor gave me 4 eggs from her hens, I will try and hatch these out. 2 light SFH eggs, and 2 mystery eggs. and I am hopeful of the dark tan one that is from my hens. I hope to have better luck with hers.

24 of 28 eggs going into lockdown tonight. Of the 4, 3 got colder, I wasn't even banking on these eggs doing anything. I just put them in to try. 2 were doing nothing but having a blood ring, the 3rd stopped developing. The other 4th egg was super big, also stopped developing. The rest candled right on track. Fingers crossed for this weekend.

WOW!!!! Just candled my eggs tonight on Day 10 and it was SO COOL!!!!! I didn't think I would see the embryo SWIMMING around like crazy! I thought I would see veins and a black dot. If I was lucky.
This was really wicked cool!! The brown ones were tough to see in, but the white ones were awesome!

It is harder when you have a small egg clutch. I have 3 due on the 16th, so I am holding my breath for all. if you have 28 and lose 4, you are disappointed still but man.

You can't upload them right to the site, but you can embed youtube videos :) I have a new baby and three pips. They are technically due on the ninth but that's not stopping them. I'm hoping at least one is slow and hatches on ninth - we will have the same birthday if that happens :)
