who else has eggs cooking???

Sorry I hit the wrong button. Anyway I was told refrigerated eggs could be hatched. They were due to start hatching 5/21. Yesterday 2 hatched. 6 are piping now. I had one I had to help out of the shell. it's in the incubator. It was still curled up when I put it back in the incubator. I just checked on it and it is peeping and beginning to unfold. It's awfully weak but it's fighting for it's life.

I've hatched lots of refrigerated eggs..some people swear it makes them late but I've not found that to be the case..I actually just set some out of the fridge..the main thing with them is to make sure they sit out and get room temp before you set them..
I had a pip on day 19 yesterday from a banty, and woke up to it hatched and sleeping away..egg was such a perfect hatch/zip, it looked fake

I now have 7 chicks in the brooder. I have 3 that are piping. I'm so happy with what have hatched so far

Were they local eggs or shipped? Thats a pretty good hatch either way really. .I thought I was just having bad luck this year but from what I've been seeing on here, it's just been a bad spring for hatching.

First round of Turkey eggs in lockdown this morning, already have an internal pip on one of them

Another set Thursday and then one more the following Thursday and then I am taking a break!!!

Got two broodys in the coop and a Turkey hen who is on her nest more than off (she has 18 eggs) June is going to be busy lol

Oh yeah definitely a good hatch so far then.. I learned the hard way that hands off really does lead to better hatches than when messing with them..lol..but I always have learned things the hard way

I've got 1 banty and one EE hatched so far (banty hatched D19, EE on D20)...everyone else is pipped except 1 banty and a couple are in there zipping ♡ Should have a hatcher full by end of the day ♡♡

First pip from Turkey eggs is a wrong end pip

The other three that have piped internally have not piped the shell... At this point because of mr or miss wrong way I wont open the bator to check on the others.... Oh the stress of self incubation
