Who else is butchering turkeys this week?

My hubby, P@P@2four and I got our three toms processed--they dressed out at 36.10, 34, 31 pounds!!! Here is a picture of our 2 1/2 year old son, with our biggest tom--it weighs more than he does!!!!

My Red Bourbons were larger than I expected at 8 to 15 lbs, though nothing like a 26, or 50-pounder. Flavor of the Red Bourbon is supposed to be superior to the BBW and BBB however. I guess we'll find out Thursday.

Please let us know how you think the Bourbons compare to other breeds. Were thinking about getting the Bourbon reds for next year.
